Welcome to term 4 of 2025! We welcome you to our blog where we like to discussour Intensive English Program and various topics that take place with your time here atLCI Language Centers. If you are not familiar with what we offer, this is the perfect placeto gather information about learning English with us.
First off, we are an international school that offers an Intensive English program for ANYONE who wants to learn English. We can help you receive a STUDENT VISA so youcan come to America and study with us. If you are already in America with a B1 visa andwould like to CHANGE YOUR STATUS, we absolutely can help you with the process.Some students hear about our amazing program and ask if we can issue them an I-20 if they transfer to us, YES, WE CAN! We accept transfer students all year round and would love to have you join us. We often have RESIDENTS of the United States inquireabout our program as well, so we leave no one behind.
Secondly, we offer group classes that are 18 hours a week. After you register,we will issue you a placement test to see which level to start you with. You will receive a Reading class, Grammar class, and a Listening and Speaking class every day of your studies. Yes, we do offer private classes that are set up to be one on one with aninstructor. This curriculum will be based off your needs. We have found some students inour group classes appreciate the private classes because one subject might be lackingso they take the private class to strengthen that one subject. Private classes are for absolutely anyone, even if you are wanting to learn Spanish or prepare for theTOEFL/IELTS TEST.
Lastly, we like to have a little fun! We offer field trips into the Houston communityso you can practice your English with locals and experience some American Culture with a school group of your peers. Some field trips even take place during class hours tothe local coffee shop so you can practice ordering in English and conversating with yourclass over coffee. We also offer clubs at LCI to help you improve on Listening andspeaking or just to have a little social interaction after school.
