Five Reasons to Attend University in the USA

As a Brazilian studying at a university in the USA, I’ve discovered many benefits to going to school here. Below are my top five reasons to attend a university in the USA.

1)     Awesome Quality

Colleges and universities in the USA are generally strong institutions. They offer an atmosphere that promotes learning, along with highly qualified professionals who will help you improve your skills and challenge yourself using different and fun methodologies.

2)     Reasonable Price

Universities in the USA offer an optimal balance between quality and price. Besides your classes, tuition usually covers other features such as gym membership, student health insurance, free passes for sporting events, campus concerts and other activities.

3)     Scholarships Available

If you can’t afford the tuition, there are many opportunities for you to get some extra funding while in college. Merit-based scholarships for international students are becoming more popular at many universities in the USA.

4)     Unforgettable Experience

You will live some of the most intense years of your life going to college far away from your home country. It is exciting. If you study at a university in the USA, you will learn something new every day and will always have memories and adventures to recall.

5)     Diverse Network

University students in the US will build a lifetime network of colleagues and friends from around the world. You will create relationships not only with American students, but also with people from a variety of different nations and cultures because universities in the USA are very diverse and supportive of international students.
