Executive English Program

Designed for professionals from around the globe who are interested in intensive English training, our Executive English Program is the ideal solution for adult professionals who want to learn English quickly and thoroughly.

More than 50 international companies across Latin America, Europe and Asia have trusted us with their language training needs. Whatever your language goals, LCI has the experience, expertise, facilities and locations to offer the English training today's professional expects.

LCI is dedicated to giving you the most comprehensive and personalized education. To meet this goal, our Special Programs Coordinator will contact you before you come to the US in order to better understand your interests, goals and proficiency level. Once you arrive, we continue to monitor your progress and ensure that we are meeting your expectations.

All of our Executive English courses include private classes, where you will receive personalized attention and instruction as you are the only student in class. You will work with a different instructor every week to enhance your experience. This will allow you the opportunity to meet a wide variety of Americans and how to interact with a variety of accents, speaking speeds, teaching styles and personalities.

Executive English Courses

Full English Immersion — The most intensive and personalized of all LCI courses, with full-time private instruction every day.

Group-Private Combo — Personalized private English instruction in the afternoon combined with group English classes in the morning.

Full English Immersion + Explore & Learn — Our Full English Immersion course plus activities that help you get to know the local culture.

Group-Private Combo + Explore & Learn — Our Group-Private Combo course plus activities that help you get to know the local culture.

Full English Immersion

• 37.5 hours a week of private, personalized Business English training
• 1.5 hours of daily lunch with a teacher or LCI staff member to apply what you have learned in your class to conversation outside of class

Group-Private Combo

• 15 hours a week of private, personalized Business English training
• 20 hours of group classes with students from around the world. These classes provide you with the opportunity to interact with other professionals from around the globe.

9:20 am - 10:30 am – Group Class: Listening and Speaking
10:45 am - 12:00 pm – Group Class: Writing

Full English Immersion + Explore and Learn

• 34 hours a week of private, personalized Business English training
• Daily lunch (1.5 hours) with a teacher or LCI staff member
• 5 hours a week of excursions in and around the city accompanied by an LCI instructor. These excursions include lunch and will give you an opportunity to not only explore American culture, but also to apply your English to situations outside of the classroom.
Note: You will receive private English classes but will go on excursions as a group if there are other students enrolled in the program at the same time.

• 5 hours a week of excursions in and around the city accompanied by an LCI instructor. These excursions include lunch and will give you an opportunity to not only explore American culture, but also to apply your English to situations outside of the classroom.
Note: You will receive private English classes but will go on excursions as a group if there are other students enrolled in the program at the same time.

Executive English Curriculum

Our private English classes are dynamic and personalized, with a variety of materials, activities and teachers to give you a well-rounded experience.  We have developed a curriculum structured around a series of Business English books, but as we understand that your time is valuable, we’ll also customize the lessons to help you meet your English goals. 

The LCI Executive English curriculum includes the following:
 
• Personalized pronunciation and accent reduction lessons
• Personalized grammar correction
• Weekly presentations or speeches aimed at improving mastery of the language, the lesson content and your confidence
• Inclusion of audio/visual material to supplement the lessons: TED Talks, documentaries, news or video clips
• Personalized writing practice (emails, reports, summaries)
• Relevant articles from Business Week, The Financial Times or other prominent magazines
• Listening practice based around case studies and interviews

Optional Add-On Courses

Enhance your Executive English Program by adding excursions to your English Immersion or Group-Combo classes.

Explore & Learn

Even if you don't select the Explore & Learn Program, you can always choose to add local excursions to your language program. These excursions include lunch, are accompanied by an LCI instructor and will give you an opportunity to both explore American culture and apply your English to situations outside of the classroom. Available on the weekends or weekdays.

Executive Golf
Add golf excursions accompanied by an LCI instructor. Enjoy local golf courses that are open year-round, while getting the chance to socialize and network in an informal setting with members of the local business community.

American Business Experience
Participate in business lectures at local universities, seminars at local venues and other local networking and educational events. Company visits can also be organized.

Corporate Language Training

LCI offers Executive English training for both individuals and groups. We are available to develop and provide a customized program for a group of executives from your department or company. Please contact us for more details or to get information about LCI’s experience in this area.
