General English (GE) Program
If your goal is to improve your conversational English to progress in your career and life, this is the right program for you. GE is ideal if you would like to combine learning English with exploring a new country and culture. LCI’s General English lessons focus on the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
All of our classes are small so each student can get as much attention as possible. Prior to the start of classes, you will go through an assessment process to place you in the appropriate level. Our General English program has six levels, from beginner to advanced. You may also choose to complement your group classes with additional private instruction focused on your individual needs.
All language programs at LCI also include a cultural component to assist you with your awareness of and adaptation to life in the USA.

See the USA Program
Students who come to the USA on a B1/B2 visa, tourist visa or a visa waiver and want to take some English classes during their visit can join our See the USA Program. Students in this program study General English for 2.5 hours daily for a total of 12 hours per week or 50 hours per four-week term.
General English classes include grammar, listening and speaking and the chance to improve your English with our professional native teachers. This program also gives you the opportunity to meet students from all over the world. Stay with one of our American host families and participate in our exciting school activities for a total experience in the USA!
